Once again we had a week of unseasonably wet weather but thankfully the sun came out and we had a warm, sunny weekend!
Dan's mum and dad returned to London from their trip though the south of England, Ireland and Wales. Unfortunately they had to cut their trip a little short because of the weather but that just meant that they had more time to spend in London. They flew back to Bris Vegas on Saturday afternoon and should be touching down soon.
I spent the last half of the week in bed with the flu. It is going around at the moment with people from Dan's office out sick and the kids at school dropping like flies!
This weekend saw the Tour de France start in London. The race has started in England before but never London so there has been great excitement in the air! Unfortunately we over slept and by the time we made it to Tower Hill, it was a ghost town! We missed the start by about 20 minutes. So we meet up with Gregg and Natasha and had a spot of lunch and a wander in the sunshine soaked streets of central London.
More rain forecast for the working week...
