It was another lovely weekend so we headed into town to explore the Tower of London. It was pretty busy, particularly in the crown jewel section and the White Tower, where the armory is.
We saw the famous ravens, a rumor from the time of Charles I has it that if they ever leave, the White Tower and the kingdom will fall so their wings are clipped and they are kept in pens at night.
After a few hours of wandering around we crossed the Tower Bridge and went to The George Inn. It was built around 1677 and both Shakespeare and Dickens have "known its hospitality."
