Thank you to everyone for the messages and phone calls! It was great to talk to family this morning whilst our mobiles buzzed away with tidings of comfort and joy! We have had a lovely, lazy day hanging around the flat. Plans to see the Christmas tree in Trafalgar Square were dashed by the news that no buses or trains are running today! Maybe tomorrow. Our Christmas dinner is roasting away in the oven as I type, Dan is making a slow roasted lamb shoulder with goose fat potatoes with a big chocolate fondant pudding for dessert!
