Yesterday on the phone to my dad, he asked if we had had snow which had settled enough to pile up and make the ground white. Unfortunately the answer was no, none of our little snow flurries had been heavy enough to settle. Until this morning that is! It was the most beautiful thing I have ever seen, when I opened the blind and saw white- everywhere! The snow was falling thick and fast! So thanks Dad!We threw
our winter woolies on and ran to Ravenscourt Park where we danced around and Dan made his first snowman (I rather stupidly didn't wear my waterproof gloves and so my help was restricted to finding arms, eyes and a nose but I think I did quite well at that!)Unbelievably it is only 4 degrees today, Friday was 18 and positively balmy! The fans were on at the pub! Climate change is only a theory President Bush??
Not that we are complaining, we have had a magical day!
LOTS of snowy photos!
