Last weekend (yes this is a very late post!) we headed out to Oxford for the day. Oxford has got to be one of the most prettiest places on earth, although not as pretty as the last time we were there, it was great to just jump on a bus and escape the madness of London for a few hours.It is only an hour and half away and the bus leaves from Holland Park corner just down the road. We set off to do all the things we didn't have time for on our last trip and to revisit a few favorite spots such as the Vault cafe in the Church of St Mary's and Alice's Shop.
Heavy snow was forecast for this weekend and we had great hopes of seeing Oxford covered in snow but it just turned out really, really, really cold!
We still didn't get to go to the Great Hall where some of Harry Potter is shot (line was WAY too long) but we did get to the Oxford Museum which we missed last time to see the famous Oxford Dodo.
