Portobello Market Morning

Although still grey and rather drizzly, it is actually not too cold at the moment so we spent the morning pottering about Portobello Road.

There were lots of goodies, most well out of our price range! Dan was particularly taken with a pewter beer stein which was actually an Oxford University rowing trophy from 1855.

I picked up these little owls for just a few pounds each but the purchase of the day was this beautiful little songbird which still works! His little cage is wooden and he has real feathers, I love him!

We also found this fantastic book store which had a Frida Kahlo cook book which I have been wanting for ages.

We also got some beautiful books in the post today from Ben and we finally got our postcards from our Nice trip addressed and sent!
