It's very close to Christmas now and because Gregg and Natasha are jetting off to spend their Christmas in Russia, we all met up in the Bear and Staff in Leicester Square for a meal and some beer.After a very respectable dinner we headed into the mop fair which had popped up in the square and went on heaps of rides! Very fun although they did make all the beer slosh around in my tummy quite a lot making the very crowded tube ride home a little unpleasant!
Today we hung around the house and watched Christmas specials, it was a VERY damp and foggy day. It has not rained but the trees are dripping and the ground and wet. The picture above was taken at 2:30pm as we ventured down to Marks and Sparks to buy the last few bits for our Christmas dinner. By the time we were walking home you could not even see the trees the fog was so thick.
So far the forecast is for rain on Christmas day, no snow, but the freeze we have been having is over, tomorrow is meant to be a positively balmy 9 degrees!
