Thursday night we rugged up and braved the walk to the end of the road to see Air play at the Hammersmith Apollo. It was so amazing, they are little French gods!!! So gorgeous and talented. They played most of our favourites and ended with a 9 minute long version of La Femme d'Argent which was incredible and Kelly Watch the Stars is even cuter live! We were sitting in balcony seats and it was hard to fight the urge to get up and dance!The Apollo is an Art Deco dream, it's an old theater with beautiful molded ceilings and chandeliers everywhere! It has quite a cool history, David Bowie famously killed off Ziggy Stardust during a show here in the 70's.
