Regents Park

Awoke to the most glorious day- deep blue skies and blazing sunshine! The temperature was a toasty 26 degrees and it was beautiful! As everyone in London hits the parks when the temperature rises we decided to join them and head to Regents Park, a mere 10 minutes away on the tube. Our street looked beautiful in the sunshine and the air smelt like cinnamon and flowers. The park was packed and it was easy to see why, the flowers were in full bloom, the water birds glided peacefully through the ponds and lakes and the ground was awash of green grass and white clover flowers. After a light picnic lunch we wandered around exploring the park before heading home to our little flat with the papers for an afternoon of reading and soaking up the sun streaming though our windows, I actually got sun burnt!
